		<description>Hi Collette, thank you for your very kind comment. It pleases me greatly to hear that my work has helped somebody in practical terms. You know, it is really amazing to find out to what extent we can reduce food spoilage by adhering to a few simple rules. Food can continue to remain edible for up to the double the time if treated in the correct manner. Personally, I hardly ever have to throw food out.  I would like to refer you to another section of the blog which is called the 10 principles of correct food storage. I feel that this page will compliment what you have already read.
